Bio
The Looniest Toon plays psychedelic pop that draws inspiration from the Tin Pan Alley era and artists such as Frank Churchill, Sammy Fain, Harry Nilsson, The Monkees, and Pearl and the Oysters!
Tripp Avenue is a four-track EP inspired by the Tin Pan Alley era and the music of Frank Churchill and Sammy Fain. Born on Tripp Avenue Chicago, IL, Walt Disney and Chicagoland equally influenced the work giving it its fitting title.
Gaspelin intended to create “her own colorful world” within her compositions similar to Disney’s early ideas. This is to symbolize dissociation, a coping mechanism used much within her childhood. The EP also touches on other mental health subjects such as depression, analysis paralysis, and anxiety. You can hear Magical and Analysis Paralysis now on all platforms.
